Privacy Policy
How Gregory Paul collects, uses and protects your personal information.
Draft notice: this is placeholder legal wording for review. Please have it checked and tailored before the site goes live.
Who I am. Gregory Paul is an independent self-build consultancy. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, contact hello@gregorypaul.co.uk or call 07789 001517.
What I collect
Only what you choose to give me: the details you enter in the Cost Calculator and the enquiry form — your name, email, phone (if provided) and information about your project. I also collect basic, anonymous usage data to understand what’s useful on the site.
Why I use it
- To reply to your enquiry and, if you asked, to send your cost estimate.
- To send occasional, genuinely useful self-build guidance — only if you’ve opted in, and you can unsubscribe any time.
- To keep the site working and improve it.
Who I share it with
I never sell your data. I use trusted providers to run the service — website hosting, and an email delivery provider (SMTP2Go) to send your estimate and replies. They only process your data on my instructions.
How long I keep it
Only as long as needed to help you and to meet any legal obligations, then it’s deleted.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or withdraw consent, at any time. Just email me and I’ll sort it. You can also complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).
